MODERNIZATION & DEVELOPMENT

    The Modernization and Development Department:

• administers architectural and engineering prerequisites
   
• prepares bid documents
   
• procures, awards and performs contract administration

for construction modernization, rehabilitation and development projects performed on Montgomery County Housing Authority-owned commercial properties, residential developments and high-rise buildings. This is in full compliance with federal standards or state and local laws that are more stringent, provided they are consistent with the Code of Federal Regulations.
